The first step to making Shrinky dinks is to decide what you want to draw on the film. For me I printed coloring pages of what I wanted because I didn't want to draw it. I printed it off bigger than I wanted since it would shrink a lot. Then I took the paper and put it under the shrink film, and then using sharpie markers I outlined it and colored it how I wanted. Then I put it on a pan in-between 2 sheets of parchment paper and put it in the oven at about 325. I waited about 2 to 3 minutes. Then I took a spatula and flattened the Shrinky dinks. I left it in the oven for 1 to 2 more minutes and took it out. If it was still curled I would put it back in. (p.s. if you want to have a hole in it make sure to punch it before cooking.)

I had been wanting to make a corset for awhile but I never had the boning and the grommets. One day we went shopping and I got some grommets from Wal-Mart. Then on our family Christmas Mommy and Daddy got me zip ties for boning!!! :D All I had to do was use duck tape and tape them together. The reason I did zip ties and not real boning is because the real boning was expensive and the zip ties were only 3 or 4 dollars for a big bag of them. I made my own pattern because I couldn't find any free ones that would work for me. The fabric I used for this was super thin so I cut out double. Once I had cut them out I sewed them together and then I added zip ties and did the grommets...… The reason they are so crooked is because I don't have the tool to put them in. Instead I cut holes and hammered them in. All in all I think that this corset is pretty good for my first time without that much help and for making a pattern and not having the right tools for the grommets. Later we went to Iowa for Christmas. Grandma took me and my cousin fabric shopping!!!! :D :D :D :D :D I got fabric and some other things too, such as thread, a tape measure thing, and bias tape for my corset. Bias tape is not really tape its just folded fabric to sew on whatever you need to. I picked out a color that matched my corset and when I got home I sewed it on. I don't have a picture of it though.
For the first time (I think) I carved pumpkins!!! I did one as a kitty and one with Mocha (my goat) on it. It was sooooo fun. I loved doing it and I hope I can do it again next year!!! Daniel did some too. Here is the link to a video of my goat pumpkin.

In the process of making it my Dad was like OooOOOoo! and so for his birthday I made him a hat with fuzzy thick yarn. He really liked it. I also later made my American girl doll a hat. Then before I knew it Sammy's birthday was coming up!! So I had Mommy buy some red yarn and in just like 3 days of slaving away at it I made Sammy a hat too!!! Now I'm making myself a fuzzy hat from some left over yarn from making my baby doll hat.
You probably already know I got a goat because I did a blog post about when I got her. The story goes that I had been wanting a goat for two years and we finally were able to get Mocha (my goat) and later we got a boy goat named Bullet that Daniel did a blog post on.😊 So now knowing all that, we can proceed. Mocha has gotten bigger and so has Bullet. Bullet has also been working on growing a beard!!🤣 Or shall I say goatee.😅 🐐 Mocha is being her princess self as always and Bullet is a jungle goat. Princess Mocha has a big pen with lots of stuff she can climb on, such as: wood pallets that are stacked, her igloo/dog igloo now goat igloo, a trailer and some other things. Explorer Bullet lives in the sheep sorting pen!!!! 🤣🤣 Well, he lives in there because he used to have a big/HUGE pen like Princess Mocha but one day he was decided, "I'm bored, OOOo! Look, the grass on the other side of the fence, is always better!!" So, The Explorer Bullet weaseled and wiggled his way out of the electric fence and...............BOOM we saw that guilty little goat munching and gulping grass on the other side of his pen!!! So after we tried and tried to get him to stay in his pen we just.....uh...…(I can't remember.....) BUT somehow he ended up in the sheep sorting pen. Mocha is pretty much my baby she is soooooo cute and fluffy!!!! 💗 The reason I didn't really take a lot pictures of Bullet is because we have a big pen around him where the horses are let out so they can eat grass.
I helped Mommy make applesauce. I cut a ton of apples while Mommy was washing them and I also washed some while Mommy cut. We filled two big pots, it took awhile. We are running out of jars so we had to use a couple large mouth jars.
I have been sewing a lot and these are all the things I have sewn!! I sewed them on a machine and for some stuff such as the blue embroidery on the gold dress and the elastic for the skirts and some other things like that I hand sewed.
The Gold Dress: I made this out of and old fabric napkin that Anne had bought at the thrift store with a tablecloth and some more napkins and she had given me for my last birthday. The Red Calico Outfit: I was going to turn make a dress out of all of it but I decided making it in pieces, it is three pieces in all: the corset, the skirt, and the shirt. It was easier and when I put them all together, it looks like a dress. PS.- I put the corset on so that it tied in the front because I didn't want it to show in the back. The Smaller Red Calico Outfit: it is the same as the big one except that the skirt is a little shorter due to not having enough fabric.😜 The Blue Skirt: I made it out of leftover fabric from my big blue skirt. I made a dress out of an old tablecloth that Anne had given me for my last birthday. Mommy helped me, and for the neck hole with the V my Grandma helped me. 😊👍
My Calico Critter house was really messy and dusty, so one day I decided to clean it up. It took all day. I had to dust each piece of furniture separately. When I tried to put it all back in, the way I did it wouldn't fit. After a couple of tries I finally got all the furniture in right.
Last Christmas Anne had given me some fabric and I finally got around to using it! I made a circle skirt! it was pretty easy but I had mommy help me since I was kind of scared of messing things up. I really like it but the fabric is kind of thin...… The skirt its self though is very comfy.
