Drone racing is where... Well the name pretty much tells you that you race drones. This is how it works: You get a bunch of guys with FPV drones and tell them to race.. Boom there you go. The drones that are designed for racing have an FPV (first person view) set on them. This allows for the pilot to see what the drone sees. I have videos of drone racing where the camera is on the drone. Usually that is filmed with a small GoPro. The actual FPV camera has a very fuzzy video which wouldn't make a very good video. Sometimes the track is outlined with lights which I think are for flying in the dark. Drones that are made for filming usually look like an x and are normally slow and have more stability. Drones that are for racing look more like a stretched out x and go very fast. I've heard that racing drones are hard to fly. I can't say for sure though because I have never flown a racing drone. I have been thinking of buying a mini FPV race drone, and have been looking at drones that are small enough to race inside but still good for outside. I want to start racing mini FPV drones because I am able to fly the drones that I have right now and it gets a little boring. Plus, mini FPV drones look like a lot more fun than regular drones. ................................................................... |
